On 11 November 2024, Charles was appointed Vice Chair of The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils ( GFCC). President, Deborah Wince Smith congratulated Charles on the appointment, “thank you Charles for your leadership and assuming the role of vice chair.” Charles responded, “it is my honour and pleasure. I Look forward to growing the membership of the GFCC at all levels. Thank you for your ongoing encouragement.”
